During math lessons we are learning about square, triangular and cube numbers. Some facts about triangular numbers are that triangular numbers can only be numbers that can form into a triangle e.g 1,3,6 ,10, 15 and so on.

Maths Reflection for school – This week in maths groups we are learning about geometric numbers. The three main geometric numbers are square, triangle, and cube numbers. For example, cube numbers are numbers that are times by them selves 3 times. Square numbers are numbers that are times by them selves 2 times and triangular numbers are numbers that can form into a triangle. The thing I found easy was how the triangular number are in a triangle so you can see it visually.
In maths groups last week we were learning about geometric numbers . Geometric numbers are squared, triangular and cubed numbers for an example
Squared Numbers – 1,4,9,16,25
Triangular Numbers – 1,3,6,10,15
Cubed Numbers – Numbers times together 3 times for an example 1x1x1=1, 5x5x5=125
During math groups we have been putting fractions, decimals and percentages onto a numberline. The numberline that we draw in our maths grid books must be equivelent in length. The difficulties that I experienced with maths is how to put big percentages onto a numberline.
