What scientific photos are hard to believe but are indeed real

Let’s look at a person’s hand

2. The first is to zoom in to a distance of one centimeter

3. After zooming in ten times, you can clearly see the pores on the skin

4. And then immediately after the magnification of 100 times, this time the skin tissue began to reveal

5. After zooming in 1000 times, you can see the individual cells

6. After further magnification of 10,000 times, you can see the nucleus in the cell

7. Zoom in to 100,000 times and you can see the chromosomes in the cell

8. With a further magnification of 1 million times, even the chromosomes can be easily seen

9. Magnified to 10 million times, this is then 1 nanometer in our traditional sense. You can see that DNA is made up of such small particles

10. Zooming in a billion times is the electron cloud we’ve heard about

11. If you zoom in 10,000 times on the electron cloud, then it’s a small dot on the electron cloud, the nucleus

Ray and Charles Eames (The Eames Company) made a documentary film in 1977 about the relativa scale of the Universe according to an order of magnitude (or logaritmic scale) based on factors of ten; expanding out from the Earth until the entire universe is surveyed, then reducing inward until a single atom.
